WA RCN Inaugural Convention 2010

Relationship Contracting: Towards 2020
The Relationship Contracting Network (RCN), the Western Australian chapter of AAA held their inaugural Convention in Perth, WA on 22 April.
Thank you to all the 110 delegates who attended the convention at the Perth Exhibition and Convention Centre and contributed to discussions on the benefits and challenges of relationship contracting and working collaboratively.
The WA RCN and AAA thank all our sponsors for their support in making this inaugural convention possible – Georgiou, Baulderstone, Parsons Brinckerhoff, Fluor Australia, AECOM, Utilibiz Pty Ltd, Arup, Jackson McDonald, Minter Ellison, McConnell Dowell and Main Roads of Western Australia.
Both our Key Note speaker presentations were excellent and highly valued by the audience. Our thanks go to:
- Hon. Richard Court, AC for his insightful overview of infrastructure challenges and the need for early collaborative discussion, innovative thinking and strong relationships in delivering value and services.
- David Wirrpanda for his wonderful inspiring talk on his life experiences and leadership in developing partnerships to build a better future for indigenous youth.
We would also like to thank all our speakers who generously and knowledgably gave their insights and views on the State of Alliancing, Value for Money and How to Achieve It, The Place of Alliancing Principles within Public Private Partnerships and the Future of Relationship Contracting.
You will find the Key Note speeches, speaker presentations, group presentations and panel discussions in the sub-menus shortly as transcriptions are completed.
Relationship Contracting 2010 is now over and we look forward to seeing you again soon at one of our future RCN events in WA.
Thank you for your engaging interaction and support,
The RCN Convention Committee.
